CS 6998-41: Adv. Scripting Languages
The seminar on Advanced Scripting Languages will focus on a variety
of the latest interpretive languages and related technologies and
how they are applied to distributed multimedia applications.
The principles and foundations underlying advanced scripting
languages and distributed object environments
such as CORBA and DSOM will be presented.
The following scripting languages will be used as examples:
- html
- vrml
- awk/perl
- java
- tcl/tk
- visual basic
- object rexx
- sgml
- korn shell
